AAPI Victory Fund Applauds President Joe Biden’s Nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to Supreme Court, Commitment to Biden-Harris Administration Campaign Promises

WASHINGTON — Today, President Joe Biden nominated Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to become the 116th Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. In response to news of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s historic nomination, AAPI Victory Fund praised President Biden for nominating a candidate demonstrably committed to upholding equal justice under the law, and for fulfilling one of his many promises made on the campaign trail.  

AAPI Victory Fund Acting President Brad Jenkins issued the following statement:

Judge Jackson’s illustrious resume and reputation precede her, and we are thrilled that the President has nominated a Judge profoundly committed to equal justice under the law, and has displayed an incisive understanding of the impact the Supreme Court’s decisions have on the lives of the American people.

“Throughout her career, and diverse public service experience, Judge Jackson has proven herself an unequivocally devoted advocate for justice, equity and inclusion. Her unique appreciation for fairness and impartiality within the justice system, along with her exceptional ability to consider different points of view, will be a boon for both the Supreme Court and for Americans throughout our nation.
