AAPI Victory Fund Endorses Seven More House Candidates for 2022 Midterms

WASHINGTON - Today, AAPI Victory Fund announced their coming slate of endorsements for key U.S. House of Representative races in the 2022 midterm elections. In this latest round, the nation’s largest AANHPI SuperPAC is endorsing seven more House members and candidates. Among them are:

AAPI Victory Fund President and CEO Brad Jenkins issued the following statement:

“Here at the AAPI Victory Fund we’re moving the 23 million-strong Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders to the ballot box to be the margin of victory in some of the nation’s most important races. We are endorsing due to the critical importance of turning out the AANHPI vote—thus, this endorsement round, we are supporting both AANHPI and non-AANHPI candidates in districts with significant AANHPI populations. We couldn’t be more excited to throw our support behind such an exemplary cohort of candidates running for election and re-election to the U.S. Congress this November. Over the next week, we will roll out our endorsements for these seven candidates—in addition to Jay Chen who we endorsed in February 2022 . Our organization remains laser-focused on holding the House, as well as picking up more seats in the Senate and several key Governor’s races.

AAPI Victory Fund National Political Director Shehn Datta issued the following statement:

“AANHPI voters, who are the fastest growing segment of the electorate, are in the unique position to make or break outcomes for candidates across the country. We look forward to turning out in support of Rep. Lucy McBath for GA-07, Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi for IL-08, Rep. Andy Kim for NJ-03, Rep. Susie Lee for NV-03, Rep. Abigail Spanberger for VA-07, Rep. Jennifer Wexton for VA-10,  and Dr. Asif Mahmood for CA-40.”

“We are committed to endorsing effective leaders who will fight for safety in our communities, voter protections at the ballot box, access to abortions and reproductive justice, and our livelihood in the face of climate change. These candidates’ track records and principled values demonstrate that they will fight to put their communities and their constituents at the heart of their work.”
