About

AAPI Victory Fund is a national Political Action Committee (PAC) dedicated to promoting and supporting Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) candidates for elected office at all levels of government. The organization's mission is to increase AANHPI representation in government to better reflect the diversity of the country and to enact policies that benefit the AANHPI community. AAPI Victory Fund works to engage and mobilize the AANHPI electorate by conducting research and analysis of voter data and demographics, providing resources and training for candidates and campaign staff, and increasing public awareness of AANHPI issues. Through these efforts, AAPI Victory Fund is making significant strides in ensuring that the voices of AANHPI Americans are heard in our democracy.

2024 Game Plan

For 2024, our top goal is getting President Biden and Vice President Harris re-elected by boosting turnout in the AAPI community for the ticket – with a particular emphasis on hard-hitting, negative-track messaging on MAGA Republicans’ harmful policies and rhetoric.

We are also supporting AAPI candidates running for Congress and statewide offices around the country – building on record numbers of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders running for office in 2022 and 2023.

Our investments will include hyper-focused TV campaigns, digital media ads targeted at young voters, and relational organizing and ethnic media.

The Battleground

The AAPI electorate has largely been untapped. A survey from the summer of 2022 found more than half of AAPI voters said they’ve never been contacted by either political party

AAPI voters make up substantial portions of the electorate in the states that will decide the 2024 presidential election. We plan on communicating to voters in each of those states: Nevada (where an estimated 12% of the electorate is AAPI), Arizona (4.4%), Wisconsin (2.8%), Michigan (2.9%), Georgia (4.2%), Pennsylvania (3.4%), and North Carolina (3.0%).
