AAPI NEXT GENERATION LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE
The AAPI Next Generation Leadership Institute addresses the underrepresentation of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI) in elected office by providing leadership training, mentorship, and a national network for AANHPI civic leaders. Since launching the New Generation Leaders Program in 2022, which brought together elected AANHPI leaders for a high-profile event with the Vice President, the institute has focused on equipping leaders to combat anti-Asian hate, advocate for policies like affordable housing and childcare, and foster collaboration across AAPI communities.
