AAPI Victory Fund Endorses Josh Shapiro for Pennsylvania Governor
WASHINGTON — Today, AAPI Victory Fund announced its endorsement of gubernatorial candidate Josh Shapiro for Pennsylvania Governor. Shapiro comes from a family of public servants and is currently serving as the Attorney General of Pennsylvania where he has restored integrity to an office badly in need of leadership and reform. He is a proven leader and has proven to the people of Pennsylvania that he has their backs and is unafraid to take on the biggest fights.
Pennsylvania is one of the key states where AANHPIs are the fastest-growing portion of the state’s electorate; from 2010 to 2020, the number of eligible AANHPI voters in Pennsylvania grew by 55% and 2.7% of the state electorate are AAPIs. The surging AANHPI electorate is becoming a crucial election-determining vote in the state.
