AAPI Victory Fund Endorses Texas Gubernatorial Candidate Beto O’Rourke

WASHINGTON — Today, AAPI Victory Fund announced their latest endorsement for the 2022 election cycle: Beto O’Rourke for Governor of Texas. Beto is a fourth-generation Texan, born and raised in El Paso where he has served as a small business owner, a city council representative, and a member of Congress. This year, if elected as governor of Texas, Beto is ready to fight for equity and safety for all of Texas. 

As one of Texas's fastest-growing populations and home to the third-largest Asian American population in the country, with a population of 1.6 million, electing a leader who is committed to the needs and safety of not only the AAPI community, but all Texans is of utmost importance.

AAPI Victory Fund President and CEO Brad Jenkins issued the following statement:

From what we’ve seen of Beto, his unwavering commitment to putting his people and constituents first has not disappointed.
